iPhone vs. Android: Which Protects Your Photos Better?

Both claims contain truth. Both omit important caveats.

What matters for most people isn’t the abstract privacy architecture of the operating system — it’s the specific question of what each platform actually does with your photos, how your photo backups work, what permissions apps can request, and where your data ends up when you use the default services.
